Symptoms worth a phone call

Most solar faults are quiet. Production drifts down, one string drops off, an inverter throws a code nobody reads — and the first real signal is a power bill that has crept back up. If any of these sound familiar, call us.

Your bill climbed back up

The clearest sign of lost production. Something has stopped generating and nobody told you.

Monitoring app shows zero

Or shows nothing at all. Could be comms, could be the inverter — worth diagnosing before it costs you a season.

Inverter light or error code

Red or amber status, or a fault code on the display. Call before resetting anything repeatedly.

One section stopped producing

A dead string or a failed optimiser. The rest of the array keeps working, which is why it goes unnoticed.

Breaker keeps tripping

Often a bad original install rather than the panels. Repeated trips need looking at, not resetting.

Battery not holding charge

Or not carrying the loads it used to. We test the battery, inverter and settings on site and handle warranty claims.

A leak near the array

Flashing or sealant failure at a penetration. We can pull panels so a roofer can work, then reinstall.

Animals under the panels

Squirrels and birds nest in the gap and chew wiring. Guards cost a fraction of the repair.

After a storm

Hail, wind or lightning nearby. A post-storm inspection with a written report protects your insurance position.

Not producing? Call before it costs you another month.

Describe what you are seeing and we will tell you what it likely is, what a visit costs, and when we can be there.

Existing customers

Something looks off? Call us.

If your bill creeps up or your app shows a drop in production, call. We understand what a non-producing system costs you every sunny day it stays broken, so we schedule at your earliest convenience rather than at ours.

  • Call-back no later than 2 business days after you reach out.
  • Warranty claims on panels, inverters and batteries handled by us.
  • Squirrel-guard fitting to keep critters out from under the array.
  • Panel removal and reinstall when your roof needs replacing.
New customers

Installer gone? You are not stuck.

A lot of Panhandle solar companies have closed their doors — Titan, Meraki and others — leaving homeowners with an expensive asset, an unanswered phone number and no idea who holds the warranty. We take those systems on every week.

We diagnose whatever brand is on your roof, restore it to full production, document what we found, and where the equipment is still under manufacturer warranty we pursue the replacement on your behalf. No lecture about who installed it, no pressure to replace a system that only needs repair.

Bought a home with solar on it?

We inspect existing systems for new owners: verify production against expectations, check attachment and flashing, confirm monitoring access is transferred into your name, and give you a written report. Often the fastest way to find out what you actually bought.

Service call FAQs

What does a service call cost?

We state the service-call cost on the phone before we drive out, and it does not change on arrival. Repairs are quoted separately once we know what is actually wrong — you approve the work before it happens.

Can you repair a system another company installed?

Yes, and we do it constantly. Any brand, any age. A lot of Panhandle installers have gone under; inheriting their systems is a large part of what we do. Since 2022, we have a 100% repair rate.

My installer went out of business — is my warranty gone?

Usually not. The manufacturer warranty on panels, inverters and batteries belongs to the equipment, not the installer. We identify what is still covered and pursue the claim for you; only the original installer's workmanship warranty dies with the company.

How fast can you get here?

Most service calls are scheduled within a few days, and urgent no-production situations we try to fit sooner. We call back no later than 2 business days after you reach out.

Do I need to be home?

No, the large majority of work is accomplished outside. If we are changing a part that is sent to you, we will need access to it while you are away. We will put our findings on your invoice and call you if you wish.

Can you work on my system if it has a battery?

Yes. We are certified Tesla installers and service Powerwall alongside other battery manufacturers — diagnostics, firmware and comms issues, capacity problems and warranty claims.

Do you provide reports for insurance claims?

Yes. Post-storm and damage inspections come with a written report documenting what we found, which is what your insurer will ask for.
